A writing competency review for college bound high school students in Minnesota
The Minnesota State Colleges & Universities system needed a way to better review the writing competency performance of their high school students. Navigation North created a system allowing students, teachers and most importantly essay readers/graders to easily communicate with each other. At the behest of their teachers, students create accounts and upload their essays. Essay review responsibilities are evenly distributed amongst the available active readers. Readers are given a wide array of review options to help critique the essays, culminating in a final pass or fail review for the essay. Teachers and students can review the reader response to discover where they need additional writing competency training.
The system is built using the Navigation North Backroads Portal System for ease of use and maintainability. The Backroads Portal System is available for license for projects. Contact us to see how we can make this system work for you.
