Resource Repository & Networking for California Educators
In 2006, the California Department of Education (CDE), under the leadership of Superintendent Jack O'Connell, embarked on a mission to create a centralized system for gathering and disseminating quality resources to support California educators. The primary goal of the Brokers of Expertise system they have envisioned is to increase student achievement by improving instruction and support services in our schools. Navigation North, in collaboration with the CDE, California K-12 High Speed Network, the Butte County Office of Education, and many other educational agencies, is working to make that vision a reality.
The Brokers of Expertise system is currently entering its first pilot phase, with gradual roll-out to expanded audiences of educators throughout 2009.
